The BrickShop Limited has been established to source and supply quality bricks into the New Zealand construction market.

The owner Directors bring extensive experience in the construction industry with particular knowledge of the brick supply and installation segment. With over 60 years of “time served” in the brick and block market David and Grant are qualified bricklayers and offer a unique insight into the dynamics of the market. Essentially, they have “been there done that” when it comes to bricks and have made significant contributions to the industry through the Masonry Trades Association of New Zealand and are widely respected within the industry.

David Shortt has built a substantial presence in the concrete block market with his manufacturing and supply business ‘The Block Shop’ whilst maintaining his bricklaying team and concrete pump business.
Grant Gordon has helped develop and introduce a new range of shaped and standard cement bricks in the North island of New Zealand and gained significant traction in this market to the point that capacity to manufacture has become a restraint.
Shane Mitchell brings a wealth of general management and construction industry experience to the business with 10 years as a senior manager at Fletcher Building and most recently Chief Operating Officer at AceDoor Systems limited, a manufacturer, supplier and installer of commercial and residential doors.
